As Istanbul becomes one of the world’s most popular tourist destinations and as interest in Ottoman/Islamic history rises due to popular series like Dirilis: Ertugrul, literature and guidebooks abound. Despite being informative, most of these do not convey the history of this nation from an Islamic Perspective. Just below the surface of the marble columns, beautiful domes and intricate tiles tourists admire, is a spiritual dimension waiting to be discovered.
Istanbul Spiritual Tours are Exclusive Islamic Tours to help the Seeker unlock some of these secrets, and most importantly, guides the Seeker from our own Islamic Narrative and Spiritual Lens after countless hours of extensive research and consulting numerous scholars so our hearts become attached to this history.
Tours and times are individually arranged and are scheduled based on availability.
Each tour lasts up to five hours and are designed as walking tours within a specific district or neighborhood.
Each tour focuses on a specific theme to help Seekers understand the religious environment of the time, and to connect to the places and people addressed using traditional sources and Muslim historical accounts.
